BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Liberty defeated Bakersfield High in volleyball Tuesday night in three games.
It was the Southwest Yosemite League opener for both teams. The Patriots, a winner over Central Section power Clovis West in their last outing, had little trouble against the Drillers.
Liberty took a close Game 1, 25-22, before going on to win the final two games for the sweep and getting the road victory.
