McCall, Ridgeview avenge last year's defeat to Independence with win over the Falcons

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Erica McCall and her top-seeded Ridgeview teammates wanted to leave no doubt they were the better team Thursday in their 62-32 CIF section Division II semifinal victory over fifth-seeded Independence at Ridgeview High.
McCall was Ms. Inside and Mikaela Gonzalez was Ms. Outside as their combination was lethal to the Falcons and avenged a loss to Independence in their 2012 area final.
Ridgeview advanced to the final to play second-seeded Garces, a 51-41 winner over third-seeded Visalia-Redwood.
