BAKERSFIELD, CA - They were tied at eight after one period and were wondering what was happening.

That was the thought on the minds of the Ridgeview High girls basketball team against Redondo Union.

No worries really, though, as the Wolfpack regrouped behind Erica McCall's 19 points, 11 blocks and five steals to defeat Redondo Union, 64-47, in a CIF Division II First Round regional affair at Ridgeview High Tuesday night.

Ridgeview's Candace Wilkerson and Alex Green had 14 points each and Mikaela Gonzalez had nine points.

The top-seeded Wolfpack advanced to the second round where they'll host eighth-seeded Murietta Valley on Saturday at 7PM.
