BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Ridgdview High center Erica McCall was named the Gatorade California Girls High School Basketball Player of the year on Thursday.
The 6-3 McCall has helped lead the Wolfpack to a 29-3 mark and the CIF State Girls Division Two SoCal Regional Final.
She earned the Player of the Year Award after averaging 19.7 points and 15 rebounds per game.
She joins former winners Lisa Leslie and Diana Taurasi, among others, who have won the award.
