Roadrunners rout Seattle University, win by 12 runs

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - CSUB pitcher Jeff McKenzie earned his 12th win by striking out eight, giving up six hits and walked one in the Roadrunners 13-1, seven-inning victory over Seattle University in a Western Athletic Conference affair Friday night at Hardt Field.
The Roadrunners sent 13 batters to the plate in an eight-run second inning, including Jordie Hein and Oscar Sanay driving in two runs apiece during the inning.
Hein went 2-for-4 and drove in a career high four runs, while Sanay had two hits, three RBIs and scored two runs.
With the win, CSUB improved to 15-7 in WAC play, 32-18 overall and remaini one game ahead of Texas State in conference play.
CSUB will take on Seattle University in Game 2 of their series Saturday night at 6pm at Hardt Field.
