BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Local high school athletes made their college choices on National Signing Day Wednesday.

Liberty saw three players set to continue their college careers.  Volleyball players Haylee Roberts and Kiki Robinson signed with Oregon and Sacred Heart in Connecticut, respectively, while Tori Zimmemann will continue her softball career at Chico State.

Garces Rachol West signed to play basketball for former Cal State women's coach Tim LaKose at San Jose State and Rams baseball and football standout Jake Sweaney will play baseball for Oregon.

BHS is sending two wrestlers off for battle.  Kyle Pope is headed to Wyoming and Coleman Hammond will stay in town with Cal State, where he'll join older brother Bryce.
