South gets quarterfinal win over Wolfpack

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The South boys soccer team scored the game's only goal in the second half and made it stand up for the 1-0 win over rival Ridgeview in a Division III quarterfinal Friday night at South.
Ridgeview couldn't get any momentum for the majority of the second half, however with extra time on the clock, the Wolfpack began one last surge to tie things.
Rebels goalie Patricio Garay made the game-saving play by stopping a header, which turned out to be the final play of the contest.
