WASCO, Calif. - Wasco running back Isaiah Sharp scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help the Tigers defeat Bakersfield Christian, 29-22, Friday night at Wasco to win the Central Section Division IV crown.
The Tigers Valley title win was their first since 1953 and just the fourth in school history.
BCHS gave the Tigers all they could handle, as the Eagles were trying to avenge a 49-0 South Sequoia League loss to the Tigers earlier in the season.
Wasco finished 13-0 and the Eagles completed a 10-3 season.
