Wasco Football Snubbed For Regional Bowl Bid

WASCO, Calif. - The Wasco Tigers football team didn't receive a Division III Regional Bowl bid from the CIF on Sunday.
This despite the Tigers finishing 13-0 and winning the Central Section Division IV football title last Friday night over Bakersfield Christian.
The CIF took San Diego Madison (12-1) and Monrovia (12-2) instead.
This is the second consecutive season an area team has finished undefeated, won a Valley title and didn't receive a Regional Bowl bid.
Bakersfield High finished 13-0 in 2011 and won the CIF Central Section Division I crown but also was left off the Regional Bowl list.
