OMAHA, Neb. - Former Centennial High standout pitcher Grant Watson is hoping to get the start against North Carolina in the Bruins second game at the College World Series in Omaha on Tuesday.

The Bruins defeated LSU, 2-1, in their first game on Sunday and challenge the Tar Heels in the Winner's Bracket.

Watson sported an 8-3 mark during the regular season with a 3.22 ERA, including 56 strikeouts.
