USC Lands Centennial QB Cody Kessler

Prized quarterback recruit Cody Kessler is joining the University of Southern California.

Kessler ended months of speculation where he might end up, by selecting the Trojans at a ceremony in Bakersfield Wednesday afternoon.

The Centennial senior-to-be chose USC over the University of Washington among 18 other offers.

Kessler's younger brother Dylan was the first to know of his selection a week or two ago and helped Cody select the "USC hat" during his announcement.

Kessler plans to attend USC next spring following his senior season at Centennial High School.
