Held every September, this event celebrates the famous Nebraska apple crop harvest. Here you can sample local apple recipes for pies, jams, sauces, entrees, appetizers and desserts. There are also baking contests, parades, a BBQ, a craft show and live entertainment.

Annual State of Nebraska BBQ Championship: If barbeque is more your cup of tea, then make plans to attend the Annual State of Nebraska BBQ Championship.
