4 bound, 2 sexually assaulted; deputies searching for suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man accused of bounding and raping two people in an apartment.

At about 6 a.m. Thursday, deputies were sent to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Virginia Avenue to investigate an assault. 

Deputies said they learned that a man forced entry into one of the apartments at the complex at about 4 a.m. 

Once inside the apartment, deputies said all four occupants inside the apartment were bound and two of them were sexually assaulted. 

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, standing at about 6 feet tall with a medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and a ski mask.
