DELANO, Calif. - One man is dead following a fight outside a casino in Delano, according to the Delano Police Department.
The incident happened on Saturday, August 9, a little after 11:00 p.m., according to the DPD. In a statement sent to 23ABC, Commander Pete Lopez said officers were sent to the Aviator Casino to investigate a fight in the parking lot which ended when shots were fired.
Once officers arrived to the scene, they found 46-year-old David Medina suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medina was transported by ambulance to the Delano Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
