Secret Witness Program offering $5,000 reward for information on suspect wanted for sexual assault

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Secret Witness Program is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information on a suspect wanted for bounding and sexually assaulting a woman in East Bakersfield. 

Just before 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 18th, 2013, Bakersfield police were sent to the 4300 block of Columbus Street on report of a rape.  

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the suspect had forced entry into the victim's home, where he bound and sexually assaulted her. 

The suspect did leave the home with items of value, said BPD. 

Police describe the suspect as a Black male, in his late 20's to early 30's, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build. At the time of the assault, he was seen wearing a black ski mask, dark colored shirt, black jean shorts, and black and white tennis shoes.
