Empire Eye and Laser Center was founded in 1998. For 20 years they have been serving the residents of Bakersfield and Kern County.

The offices were designed to provide a relaxing environment where patients can come in and get their medical or surgical eyecare in an environemnt that doesn't feel like a regular doctor's office.

Over 10 years ago they started a non-profit called Advanced Center for Eyecare. The goal is to be able to provide eyecare to anyone who needs it regardless of their social or economic status. They also provide discounted care for patients who need that for better vision and a better life.
