Amazon is looking to hire full-time and part-time employees for its Bakersfield location and Bakersfield College is looking to help out.

BC will be having an Amazon Day, an online event where prospective employees can get additional information about when jobs will be available, how to apply, the application process and benefits of working at Amazon.

Among the benefits offered by the company are health care benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) with company match and employee discounts.

The only requirements are that you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

There is limited capacity for each session so people must register ahead of time. The dates and times for the sessions are:

• June 17 at 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• June 17 at 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• June 24 at 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• June 24 at 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
