Local business leaders and owners set to attend Annual Kern County Economic Summit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Business leaders and owners from across Kern County will be heading to the Double Tree Hotel in Northwest Bakersfield tomorrow for the 20th Annual Kern County Economic Summit.

The Kern County Economic Summit is an annual program featuring economists and business leaders who provide valuable information designed to educate and broaden perspectives on international, national and regional economies. This is a premier opportunity to join local businesses and government leaders in discovering ways to sustain and advance economic prosperity in our growing region.

Speakers this year include Peggy Grande, Jake Soberal, Dede Flemming, Sean Caffery, Joan Johnson, local CSUB Assistant Professors of Economics Richard Gearhart, Ph.D. and Nyakundi Michieka, Ph.D.
