BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — For the first time ever, Murray Family Farms is letting its customers ship sweet treats to their out-of-state relatives for the holidays!
On Wednesday, the Bakersfield-based business announced on Twitter that it is shipping citrus, honey, and preserves nationally, except to Hawaii and Alaska. The owners also told 23ABC that they're working to provide shipment on their rare harvest and exotic fruits in the future.
We're shipping! We never ship produce but at this time of year temperatures are so low you have the chance to get our harvest by mail! Do you know anyone who needs a little sunshine, or some honey for your Honey?! pic.twitter.com/9Zcurm9ORn

Murray Family Farms said its shipment availability depends on the weather and is only planning to ship during the colder months.
