New Planet Fitness scheduled to open this week in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A new Planet Fitness center is scheduled to open this week and the company is inviting the public out to help them celebrate its grand opening.

The celebration is happening Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. They'll have free food, prizes, giveaways, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The gym is also offering some deals to mark the new location.

The new Planet Fitness will be located at 731 Airport Drive.
