There's a new push to help passengers who had to cancel their flights due to the pandemic. Consumer Reports is now asking the transportation secretary to force airlines to issue refunds.

This comes as the U.S. Department of Transportation reviewed a large number of complaints about it. Secretary Elaine Chao has reached out to airlines reminding them of the need to provide refunds.

Many airlines are just providing travel credits for cancellations.
