The Small Business Development Center is hosting a webinar at CSU Bakersfield to cover the latest on Kern Recovers and Small Business Association loan programs.

“Managing Your Small Business through the Pandemic” will be online Wednesday, from noon to 1 p.m.

Small businesses can learn the latest on federal, state and local lending programs, plus what may come next as Congress mulls another stimulus package.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will cover recent Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness rule changes and their effects, plus the Kern Recovers forgivable loan program and free small business PPE distribution network.

Special guest, Jay Thompson, lead consultant for the SBDC will join in a discussion of unique issues experienced by local SBDC clients with the PPP and Economic Injury Disaster Loan programs. Questions from attendees will be taken.
