BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — It's official!

According to its website, the second Raising Cane's location in Bakersfield will open in January!

Back in June of this year, a spokeswoman with the fast-food restaurant told 23ABC that they were planning to finish construction, hire their staff and open by November or December 2019, depending on construction time. But now, the restaurant is slated to officially open on January 16, 2020 on California Avenue in Southwest Bakersfield.

The restaurant, whose specialties include chicken fingers and Texas toast, is a Louisiana based chain with over 420 locations across the United States and 19 countries.

The first Raising Cane’s restaurant opened at the beginning of the year on Coffee Road in Northwest Bakersfield. The restaurant is open from Sunday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
