Uber Eats announced it will waive all delivery fees from local restaurants and they will offer contactless deliveries.
The company announced that as more people stay home, it is looking to help support local businesses and restaurants with this new policy.
According to the company, to pay no delivery fee, "look out for the EAT LOCAL banner in the app. Delivery Fees will be automatically waived on all applicable orders, which we hope will make eating from your local favorites easier."
The company has more than 100,000 local restaurants featured on its app.
