Bakersfield Police Department searching for a vehicle involved in fatal hit and run accident

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a car that was involved in a fatal hit and run involving a pedestrian.

According to the BPD, on Friday, November 8th at around 6:30 p.m. a man was struck and killed while walking in the roadway along the 1200 block of Ming Avenue. The driver of the car did not stop and drove off in the eastbound direction of Ming Avenue.

The suspect's car is described as a red or maroon 2006 to 2008 Pontiac G6 4-door sedan. It would have damage to its front windshield as a result of the accident.
