DELANO, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting of a 16-year-old male in Delano Tuesday.

According to KCSO, deputies from the Delano Substations were called out to reports of a shooting on Anita Avenue around 5:37 p.m. When they arrived they found the teen lying in the driveway of a vacant home with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.
