A luncheon was hosted by mayor Karen Goh Tuesday to celebrate employers who work to hire people with disabilities.

HIRE is an organization that strives to help employees and employers achieve this goal.

Tracey Mensch has cerebral palsy and has had to deal with companies turning her away because of her disability her whole life. She now works at Rabobank and says more companies should work to hire people with disabilities.

The luncheon was originally founded by former mayor Harvey Hall and is now continued by current mayor Karen Goh.
