Three suspects are in custody after fleeing from police in southwest Bakersfield on Saturday.

Police arrived at the scene of a burglary alarm at the Goodwill on Stine Road, where they found the three suspects running away from the business.

When officers attempted to intercept the men, one of them attempted to stab an officer with a foot-long knife. That suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Dylan Goller.

During the confrontation with the officer, Goller fell on his own knife. He was taken to Kern Medical Center with minor injuries.

The second suspect, identified as 25-year-old Kevin Gunn, tried to strike pursuing officers with a metal skateboard; he was unsuccessful.

The third suspect was identified as 43-year-old Joshua Hamlin. All three have been booked into the Kern County Jail.
