BPD looking for Jack in the Box assault suspect

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for brandishing a weapon and assault with a deadly weapon.

On April 3, 2017, at 5:31 p.m., the suspect entered the Jack in the Box restaurant located at 4200 Chester Avenue, and contacted the two victims.

During an argument the suspect pointed a screwdriver at both victims in a threatening manner, and then threw the screwdriver at the victims nearly striking them.

The suspect is described as a:

Hispanic male, early 30’s, 5’10”, short black hair, wearing a dark colored jacket, gray long sleeved sweatshirt and khaki colored pants.
