The Bakersfield Police Department has arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery in central Bakersfield.
According to BPD, on Saturday officers responded to Chester Place near 4th street for a report of an armed robbery.
Officers said the suspects approached the victim while he was sitting in his vehicle.
The suspects allegedly pulled out a gun and robbed him before running away.
Shortly after the robbery, while circling the area, officers found 19-year-old Darrin Williams on 2nd street.
Williams was found in possession of some cash taken from the victim and a firearm.
Williams was arrested for robbery, conspiracy and illegal firearms possession.
Officials said the second suspect is still on the loose.
