Hundreds of vendors, families and fans gathered today at Rabobank Convention Center for Collector-Con's sixth annual event.

All of its toys, comics and collectibles were available to purchase this weekend. There is also face paintings and a cosplay contest for those who dressed for the occasion.

“This is a great time and place to meet up with people that have the same interests as you, like forever growing up I could not find people that liked Star Wars, Star Trek like I did, and now, there it is right her, right there, right there, new friends, so for me this is a wonderful experience and chance to meet new people, make new friends, make memories, and have a blast with it," said Alison Alva.

In Captain America's case, this event is more than just dressing up and collecting.

“It’s great for the community, it helps expand the community to local film artists, to come and visit to see all the different toys that might not be on the market today," said Cap Otten.

The Collector-Con also came back with its second annual concert. Local bands like Stereo Citizen, the Hate Drugs and Second to None were in attendance.

“There show never failed to impress me. They always provide such an amazing experience for people to come and watch. Their music is by far the best I’ve ever heard," said Alesha Blue.

Celebrity guests also made an appearance. Michael Copon, who played the blue Power Ranger on Power Rangers: Time Force, Vernon Wells from Mad Max and many more other stars.

There will also be raffles and all proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald Charities of the Central Valley.
