UPDATE (Nov. 18, 11:17a.m.) : The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim as 51-year old Jesus Madrigal. The cause of death is still pending.
UPDATE (Nov. 17, 3:59 a.m.): Kern County Fire officials say the person who was rescued from the house fire has died from their injuries.
Officials say that when crews made their way into the home, they found a person lying on the floor. That person was transported a local hospital, where they died from their injuries.
The identity of that person and the exact cause of death has not been released at this time.

Fire officials are investigating a house fire that displaced four people early Thursday morning. County officials say they received calls of a house fire at Isabell Road and Monterey Street at 12:45 a.m.
Neighbors told fire crews that they heard people trapped inside of the house.
A witness tells 23ABC that neighbors helped residents evacuate the home. Fire crews had to rescue one person who was still trapped inside of the home. That person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Right now, fire officials say the blaze does not appear to be suspicious. Fire crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.
