A family is asking for answers after a teen is killed in Lamont over the weekend. On Tuesday night friends hosted a candlelight vigil in his honor on the side of the church where Arturo Ruiz was found dead on Sunday morning.

Those who showed up lit candles and left gifts and balloons at the memorial. His friends say Ruiz was popular and liked by everyone.

Ruiz was last seen leaving his girlfriend's house. She says he left at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, the last time he would be seen alive.

Ruiz's family also spoke to 23 ABC, they say they're still trying to understand how something like this could happen, asking anyone with information to come forward.

As for the investigation, KCSO says they still have no suspects or a motive.
