BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Fox Theater "Marquee Inspire" program announced it is now accepting submissions for August and it still has a few spots open for the rest of July.

"Marquee Inspired" allows residents to pay $200 to write a message on its iconic marquee for 24 hours. For an extra $100 the theater's neon lights will flash with your message at sunset.

Fox Theater officials say they encourage the public to have fun with the messages, but anything deemed inappropriate will not be accepted.
