Last day to register for to vote for mid term elections

The 2018 midterm elections are quickly approach. Arriving sooner are deadlines to register to vote.

Monday October 22nd is the last day to register to vote to be on the elections registration at your local poll. There are a couple of ways to make sure you're registered today:

First you can register online at: www.RegisterToVote.ca.gov or www.KernVote.com

To register you need you California identification and Social Security numbers.

Second you can register by mail. You can either print out the form at: www.kernvote.com/VotebyMail/ or pick one up at a fire station, post office, library or DMV. Then mail a completed form to your local election office:

Third you can register in person. Go to your local election office (the address above for Kern County) and fill out the required form. 

If you don't register to vote by Monday you can still register to vote via provisional ballot. The only way you can do so is in person at the local election office. You can register for a provisional ballot and vote all the way up to election day, November 6th.
