Police looking for suspect who robbed Nationwide Reality Management

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for robbery.

On May 19, 2017 at 6:08 p.m., officers with the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to Nationwide Reality Management located near 2nd Street and H Street in Central Bakersfield for an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the business, pointed a black handgun at two employees, and demanded money. During the incident the suspect physically assaulted the two employees, which resulted in minor injuries to both.

The suspect ran from the business after obtaining an undisclosed amount of currency.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years of age, 6’0”, 250 pounds, and heavy build wearing a white shirt with black stripes, white shorts, light colored baseball hat and white shoes.
