(Update: August 16, 2018 3:27 p.m.): 23ABC received a statement from TJ Cox's Campaign Manager in response to the protest yesterday, stating that the campaign had nothing to do with the protest that occurred outside Valadao's home.
“We do not support nor sponsor this type of demonstration. Instead, if voters are unhappy and frustrated with Valadao's voting 99% of the time with Trump, including against DACA and to dismantle healthcare, we encourage voters to make their voices heard by voting on November 6", said Francois Genard, Campaign Manager for TJ Cox.

On Wednesday, several protestors from the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights gathered outside of Congressman Valadao's home to protest.
Alex Tavlian, Campaign Manager for Congressman David Valadao issued a statement in response to a protest held outside Valadao's home by supporters of TJ Cox.
"Supporters of TJ Cox should be ashamed of their actions outside the Valadao home. Threatening family members of any elected official is crossing a line of decency and there is no place for it. As a husband and father himself, Mr. Cox should immediately denounce these actions and those who participated in today's protest should apologize to Congressman Valadao's wife and children."
Congressman Valadao and his Chief of Staff have issued statements as well.
