Holiday Tree Controlled by Twitter Hashtags
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The outlets at Tejon got into the Holiday spirit early this year. The shopping center's tree lighting is tonight from 8:00PM.
This year, they changed things up. It's not your normal Christmas tree. The tree's lights are controlled by 'Twitter' hash-tags.
The Outlets at Tejon have partnered with charities like Marley's Mutts, Wounded Heros Funds, and CASA.
This is how it works, shoppers can tweet out the outlet's hash-tag along with their favorite charity's controlled color.
