The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, came to California on Tuesday. Perdue met with farmers to get a real look at how the agriculture industry is doing. Perdue also reassured farmers that President Trump has their back after committing to 12 billion dollars in aid for farmers.

The emergency farm aid will only be for 2018, to give the Trump administration time to work on a long-term deal with countries like China.
