Born and raised in Bakersfield, Sherod Waite and David Anderson always had a passion for finance and built Moneywise from the ground up over the last 10 years. Starting out in a spare bedroom with zero clients and no resources they slowly built it up to what it is today.
As financial advisors, they wanted to come in and interact with people and help guide them to make better financial decisions.
They discovered that in the offices they couldn't always help everybody. As a radio show and podcast, Moneywise is out there for everyone.
Moneywise is a local business that is embedded in and cares about the community. It's important that when they make partnerships with other firms and businesses in Bakersfield that they share that vision.
They are concerned about what ultimately happens and how that is going to positively impact the community.
