FOUND: Kern County Sheriff's Office says girls are no longer missing

UPDATE: The Kern County Sheriff's Office said the girls are no longer missing. No additional details are available at this time.


The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities help in located two girls.

Yasmin Alvarez and Nicole Alvarez were last seen October 18 in the area of Dorothy Street. They are both considered at risk due to neither having a history of running away.

Yasmin Alvarez is described as a Hispanic Female that is 14 years old and 4'11". She is said to be 100 pounds.
She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue pants and tan boots.

Nicole Alvarez is described as a hispanic female 12 years old that is 5'1". She is said to be 100 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
