(UPDATE Oct. 20) Gabriel Gomez has been found was taken to a hospital as a recovery precaution, KCSO said.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating an at-risk 62-year-old man.

According to the KCSO, Gabriel Gomez was last seen on foot at the corner of Olive Dr. and Airport Dr. He is described as 5'9", weighing 270 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray sweater, and blue jeans with white shoes.

Gomez also has a black cane. He is considered at-risk due to several medical issues.

Anyone with information on Gomez is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff's Office at 661-861-3110.
