Throughout the month of December, Kern High School District students will be "sprinkling happiness" throughout their communities.

Dozens of local students will be sharing special signs of encouragement and messages of happiness with school administrators, staff, students, and the public.

Because the KHSD has such a large number of students and schools participating, the creator of Happiness Sprinkling Project, Laura Lavigne is coming to Bakersfield to kick off the events. Lavigne is the founder of the Anacortes Center for Happiness located in Anacortes, Washington.
