BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit East Bakersfield Sunday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It happened around 7:41 p.m. just south of Highway 178 and to the west of Rio Bravo Golf & Country Club.
According to the USGS, the depth was nearly 7 miles and the distance equated to 5 miles.
At this time, there are no reports of damages to buildings.
