Azteca America has announced that its first-ever original scripted series produced in the U.S. will be about a controversial president building a wall between America and Mexico, the Los Angeles Times reported.
"El Muro" -- or, "The Wall" -- will feature a wall being built between Arizona and Mexico and will also weave in a love story between an undocumented immigrant and an immigration officer in charge of her deportation, the Times reported.
While Azteca's programming is mostly made in Mexico, "El Muro" will be the network's first show exclusively produced in the United States.
Azteca America is available in Bakersfield on KZKC-LP Channel 42, sister station to 23ABC News.
