LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The annual Daytime Emmy Lounge is a chance for nominees to walk away with free and luxurious items and 23ABC caught up with a few entertainers who spent a little bit more time at a high end massage table and hand-crafted chocolate stand.
This year, luxury brands from around the city filled the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in hopes of getting a nod from their celebrity guests.
Actor Christopher Sean says he attends the lounge every year and this time around he enjoyed a Jamaican Hotel, a digital portal and a massage chair that also made him feel like "Doc and Marty from Back To The Future."
However some nominees, such as Hayley Erin from General Hospital experienced the lounge for the first time.
"I’ve never been to one of these before and now I regret not coming to one of these," Hayley told 23ABC.
Her cast-mate, Chloe Lanier who was also nominated says she loves indulging in the freebies.
"It's always super fun," Chloe explained. "I always like eating cheese and chocolate and getting free things -- it's always really nice."
Both Chloe and Hayley were nominated for Best Younger Actress in a Drama Series and used the lounge to wind down before the nerves kicked in.
At the end of the event, we caught up with host Adrienne Bailon and her husband Israel Houghton who performed their Emmy-nominated gospel song, "Secrets".
"For the academy to acknowledge and nominate that song is so huge," Adrienne told 23ABC.
