La Foret Fine Dining and Lounge at the Sundale Country Club in Southwest Bakersfield has been temporarily shut down by health officials, the Kern County Health Department said Friday.
A complaint was received Friday morning that the walk-in refrigerator at the restaurant on Sundale Avenue was not functioning properly; health inspectors found the temperature of the food in the refrigerator was measured at 60 degrees, officials told 23ABC News. A health inspector also found cockroaches on the premises.
As a result, the facility is current closed, according to Health Services Public Relations Officer Michelle Corson.
The restaurant's most recent inspection in March earned it a B rating from the health department.
