3rd man arrested in Chuck E. Cheese's shooting

Kern High School District officials said around 11:54 a.m. East Bakersfield High School was placed on lockdown due to Kern County Sheriff activity in the area. 

KHSD placed the school on lockdown as a precaution. 

The lockdown has been lifted.

Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department arrested 26-year-old Melton Smith near the school. Smith was wanted in connection with weekend shooting at Chuck E. Cheese's.
