DELANO, Calif. — On Thursday Delano Police received an anonymous call regarding price gouging at Los Michoacanos Bakery, 1213 Jefferson St.

Delano Detective’s investigated the call and discovered the owners/managers bought a four pack 19oz bottles of Lysol Disinfectant Spray for $15.94, and began selling individual bottles for $17.99

The owners/managers also bought Sunny Care latex gloves in bulk for $49.00 for 10 boxes and began selling each box for $9.99.

The case has been forwarded to the Kern County District Attorney's Office for review.

The Delano Police Department and the Kern County District Attorney’s Office are working together to protect the citizens of Kern County and the City of Delano from price gouging during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Businesses caught price gouging will be prosecuted.
