BPD looking to identify the driver involved in a hit and run

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — BPD is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in an injury-hit and run collision.

The incident happened on May 31st, around 6:29 a.m. when a vehicle collided with a bicyclist between Reina Road and Abe Drive. The bicyclist sustained moderate injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver 2013 model Honda Civic, 2-door. The vehicle has damage to the front driver side fender and rear driver side tail light.
